BluzKat's Harmonica Jam #2

Pawz for Music/BluzKat just completed the 2nd BluzKat's Harmonica Jam  at the University of Alabama Culture Fest held on October 5, 2008 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where Ruben Studdard, American Idol, was the main headliner.  Pawz for Music/Bluzkat was invited by the Brice Miller Foundation to create this special outdoor harmonica jam for the Culture Fest.

Over 100 inner-city kids eagerly lined up at our tent wanting to learn to play the harmonica.  Those kids who participated in the harmonica jam received:

*  Specialized instruction by the “Shelby Harmonica Players” from

   Alabama

*  Participated in a special jam session with the Instructors playing

   "When the Saints Came Marching In" - the song they just learned

* A drawstring back sack filled with:

- Donated new Hohner harmonica with case

- Specially designed instruction book featuring BluzKat

  and friends

- A mini-harmonica necklace

Pawz for Music is proud to inspire these kids many of them for the first time in their lives.
